February 2-3, 2010
Santa Clara Convention Center
Santa Clara, California

Program Schedule
The electric power industry faces increasing challenges in providing a reliable supply of electricity to meet growing demand. Smart grid technology offers a means for grid operators to respond to these challenges by adding a communications layer to the grid for performance monitoring and load response. With much of the technology needed already in existence, the industry is ready to move beyond developing smart grid technology to managing its deployment.
The Grid ComForum provides a venue for grid operators and technology suppliers to discuss the business and technology management issues that must be addressed to create the next-generation power grid and realize its benefits.
This inaugural two-day conference will address the development of smart grid technology with a focus on technology selection and management. Delegates will enjoy sessions focused on business case development, market drivers, operations, and policy concerns.
