Grid ComForum targets the needs of electric power industry managers and executives responsible for the deployment of smart grid technology, with a particular focus on the communications layer. Grid ComForum provides a unique focus on technology selection and management as well as addresses business case development, market drivers and marketing, operations, and policy concerns.
Why Grid ComForum
- IEC's Rich History. The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) has been serving the electronics and telecommunications industries for more than 60 years. The IEC's mission is to connect academia and industry through the highest quality and most innovative forms of continuing education.
- Experience Producing Successful Industry Events. When broadband had matured from a technology in development to one ready for deployment, the IEC saw a need for a conference and exhibition that dealt with this change and was designed for network operators and technology suppliers. And so was born the Broadband World Forum ten years ago. Much like Broadband World Forum was for the telecoms market, the Grid ComForum is a conference and exhibition about Smart Grid deployment geared toward the power grid operators and their technology suppliers.
