MARKETING YOUR SESSION: MAXIMIZING ATTENDANCE
Sessions whose speakers proactively market their speaking engagement to their customers tend to be some of the more popular sessions at the event. Take advantage of the following marketing items to communicate to your customers and assist the IEC in promoting your session.
Feature HTML E-mail/Website spotlight sessions
- Grid operator and technology supplier speaker presentations featuring your session title, time, and date
- Content–driven messages from speakers–including teasers–describing the topical direction of your specific comments. Content should be sent to Lynne Bobak
- Presentation slide(s) that can be released ahead of the event (optional)
- Speaker bios and photos
IEC will market this information to prospects, interest groups, and pre–registrants, as well as create dedicated HTML e–mails. Speakers can send this information to their customer base. Refer us to your public relations manager or marketing manager who handles these relationships.
